My name is Gabriela Rey, though you probably know me on social media as madameardent. I am a graphic designer and editorial illustrator and, since 2020, I have been helping authors from all over the world dress their novels so they can shine and find their place in the market. I love working hand in hand with you, ensuring you are present at every step of the process and feel supported, heard and, above all, that you enjoy your project as much as I enjoy creating it with you.
I am passionate about my work. I have spent years working very hard to do what I do and to ensure your books receive the best treatment they deserve.

I tell you my story to inspire yours:
2015: I used to make book covers for free for entertainment while studying
2017: I dropped out of my Marine Sciences degree. I didn't know what to do with my future. It was a complicated and gray year.
2020: I finished studying graphic design, opened this account, and got my first client. Few people believed I could make a living making book covers
2024: I was fired from a job where I was very unhappy and I made the decision to study a master's degree in advanced graphic design. I crossed paths with the right people and decided to take my business to the next level.
2025: more than 100 books have my covers and more than 20,000 people follow my work. And I work 100% on this.
About the future
I am currently working on my first novel and I hope to soon share more with you about this professional branch of mine in writing and literature
